Buy with confidence We decided quite a while ago that our next car would be an electric and came across Jonathan's website in late 2017. Impressed by his video reviews, we called him up and he sent us off to meet James in Hinckley, who took us for a test drive in a Nissan Leaf. This one was a little outside our price range but we asked Jonathan to look for something suitable for us. After a few weeks he found us a 63 plate Leaf Acenta and, since we were impatient to get hold of it, he offered to have it delivered straight to us, at no extra cost, but without the opportunity to give the car his usual service and valet. Unfortunately, when the car arrived, it turned out to have a faulty heater, which was going to be expensive to repair. To cut a long story short, we now have a replacement of the same age and mileage, which Jonathan delivered to our door himself. Anyone who has bought a used car will know how unusual this level of personal customer service is. I can't recommend Ecocars highly enough

Leaf purchase and road trip - great experience! Highly recommend Just bought a Nissan Leaf from Eco-Cars, and we love the car! Living near London we were initially hesitant about buying a car from a dealer as far away as Orkney, but Jonathan made the whole buying process a pleasure - and I've never said that about buying a car before! He took time both before and during the sale to make us feel comfortable with the car, and as first time EV drivers this was really valuable. Although Jonathan offered to drive the car down south for us, we decided instead to fly up to Orkney to pick up the car from there, then drive it ourselves the 600 miles back home. It was the best decision we could have made - Jonathan gave us a route map with charging points, and there's nothing like a 600 mile road trip to get used to the car and its range, and to work out how to get the most mileage from it! That's why there's now a Leaf driving around Hertfordshire with an Orkney flag on its rear windscreen :)

I’ve just completed my first week as an EV owner and I love it! A friend introduced me to the Eco Cars website and put me in touch with Jonathan and I haven’t looked back. The whole process of buying my Outlander PHEV with Eco Cars couldn’t have been easier and I’d have to say it’s probably the easiest car purchase I’ve ever made. Not knowing much about EV’s prior to this I had lots of questions and Jonathan was so patient with me, answered everything and gave me lots of advice. This last week James and Kate have been on hand to answer more questions for me and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Eco Cars to my friends and family and I wish I’d made the move to an electric vehicle years ago.

3 months on from buying a Nissan Leaf from Jonathan of Eco-Cars - a very satisfied EV driver It is almost a year since I thought of upgrading from a hybrid to a fully electric car. Jonathan Porterfield of Eco-Cars was recommended to me by friends who love their Nissan Leaf. I went on the Eco-Car website & found it very user-friendly. The films of specific cars were a good way of learning what to look for & I was pleased that a Nissan Leaf was available & at a good price. I rang Jonathan & we chose a day. He delivered the car to our home & spent hours with us teaching us basics & giving me an EV driving lesson. By the evening, I was confident to drive the car & we knew about types of charger & how to plan a journey around charging. Jonathan took away our elderly hybrid in part-exchange. Since buying the car, we have our own home charger & have free parking in all our borough’s carparks. I think we will upgrade to an EV with a more powerful battery in a few years. And when we do, I will contact Jonathan again because we had excellent help and service from him.

Having been in contact with Johnathan at Eco-Cars.net for over a year I have been impressed by his knowledge and patience with his customer. After leading me a Peugeot last year for a ten day trial, I have kept in touch on a regular basis and when we were ready to buy the process could not have been easier. Jonathan found us a car very quickly and it was delivered to Aberdeen in a few days so no waiting about. After purchase he has continued to offer advice and assistance over use of the car.
